During your stay with us there is lots to see and do for those who wish to be adventurous.  You can hire a car a travel to the beautiful cities and towns of Jerez (home of the sherry and brandy bodegas) or visit the historical and enchanting delights of Seville, Ronda or Jerez (famous for its horses and bodegas) all are within easy reach of a 40 min approx drive and are well worth a visit.  Perhaps you would like to explore the area and take a horseride, mountain bike ride, paraglide or walk the Via Verde Green ways (a beautiful, scenic route that uses the old railway line and follows the course or the river Guadalete.  For those who just wish to relax....there are of course the range of Holistic Therapies available here at the Centre including Aromatherapy Massage, Hot Stone Massage, Sports Massage, Reflexology, Reiki Energy Treatments, Hopi Ear Candling.  As these additional activities are run separate to the Centre using outsourced providers, please enquire at time of booking to ensure that these facilities can be booked to coincide with your stay with us.  If you wish to extend your stay at the Centre this can be arranged based on the number of additional nights you wish to take.

RONDA

A beautiful, bustling town poplar with tourists with historic architectual attractions, from the Puente Nuevo Bridge overlooking stunning mountain backdrop, to one of the oldest bullrings in Spain (complete with bullfighting museum memorabillia), stunning views (so bring your camera!) lots of nice shops and boutiques, and restaurants, pony & trap site-seeing rides around the town are a good way to see the sights.  A very memorable town that many return to visit.

The Giralda is one of the most emblematic monuments in Seville and was constructed by the Moors between 1184 and 1197 and reaches a height of 76 metres. It can be seen from all aspects of Seville.

The Royal "Alcazar" was constructed by Adb Al Raman III in 913.  It was a fortified palace which went on to become the residence of various monarchs.

  HOLISTIC THERAPIES FOR MIND, BODY & SPIRIT

   Reiki Healing Treatment - 1 hour                    €40.00

Reiki is the Japanese word meaning Universal (rei) Energy (ki). It is this vital life force energy that flows through all living things, which can be activated to increase well-being. Reiki is a simple, non-intrusive natural healing treatment which channels this energy to the individual and is ideal for relaxation and can assist with dis-ease, maintaining positive wellbeing assisting with the healing process for physical, mental, emotional and spiritual transformation. Reiki can increase and balance energy, releases stress, assists with the release of emotions.

The therapist gently places her hands in various positions on the client’s body. Each position is held for a few minutes, allowing the client’s body to take as much Reiki as is needed. The whole body is treated and the energy works to enable the body to release blocked energy, tension and stress, thereby restoring balance to the body, mind and emotions. The client remains fully clothed during treatment with soothing background relaxation music.

  Chakra Energy Balancing - 40 mins approx        €35.00

Chakra is a “Sanskrit” word meaning “wheel” and the Chakra system can be likened to tiny suns or energy vortexes. There are seven Chakras and they are located within the body and take in light and emit energy providing the body with its life force that sustains us Mentally, Physically, Emotionally and Spiritually. The state of health of each Chakra affects the physical body, if you are unwell, suffering from stress, poor diet, addictions, negativity, this can cause stagnant energies, creating an imbalance in the energy flow of the Chakras or dis-ease. This can cause the whole body and its systems to be affected. Chakra balancing frees the blockages and the body can be brought back into realignment – creating “homeostasis”, harmony and balance are reinstated. Treatment takes place fully clothed with soothing relaxation music.

Auricular Therapy (Hopi Ear) - 40mins         €30.00

Auricular Therapy or Hopi Ear Candling as it is more commonly known is a non-invasive treatment of the ears used to help with a variety of conditions and is a very relaxing, soothing treatment ideal for the build up of earwax, sinus conditions, colds & flu, and ringing in the ears "tinnitus".  They are also effective for airtravellers to help eleviate problems with the ears when flying. The "candles" are hollow tubes made from natural organically grown flax, infused with beeswax, honey, St Johns Wort, Chamomile and work on a "chimney" principle, drawing out any wax or impurities to the surface where they can be gently removed.  Many clients find the whole experience very relaxing and calming to the senses due to the gentle heat and fragrant aromas that are released during treatment.

     Hot Stone Relaxing Massage - 1hour 15mins   €70.00

A type of professional massage using specially heated volcanic lava stones. As the stones are volcanic they retain the heat for a long time and are said to have special healing qualities. The hot stone therapy lava stones are heated to a comfortably warm temperature prior to treatment and used in combination with the use of Swedish massage style movements and aromatherapy oils to suit your needs.

The heat from the stones helps to rid the muscles of toxins and regulates blood flow and loosens stiff joints. It is very, very relaxing.  
   

   Sports Massage - 1 hour 15 mins                  €70.00

This is a deep tissue massage and concentrates on the muscles which have been used in physical activity. The aim is to stretch and loosen the muscles, releasing tension and stiffness and easing pain. 

     Aromatherapy Massage - 1 hour 15 mins       €70.00

A professional massage using essential oils which are derived from plants, trees, leaves and flowers to promote emotional and physical wellbeing. When the oils are massaged into the body, the smell and healing properties of the oils enter the blood stream and the limbic system to the brain to give a positive effect to our emotions and this results in an improvement in our emotional and physical wellbeing. Some oils promote deep relaxation and will help you sleep whilst some can invigorate.

  Reflexology Treatment - 1 hour approx             €60.00

This is the treatment of the feet using specific massage techniques. First practiced in China, Japan and Egypt and India over 5000 years ago, it was introduced to the western world in the 1930’s. by Eunice Ingham, a physiotherapist and student of zone therapy. She used this therapy on her clients and concluded that there are energy zones that run throughout the body and reflex areas in the feet that correspond to all the major organs, glands and body parts.  It stimulates over 7000 nerve endings which encourages the opening and clearing of neural pathways. It not only reduces stress and induces deep relaxation, it also improves circulation, cleanses toxins and boosts the immune system.
